Questions answered this episode:
Mike – Did the code intend to include breakroom/kitchens with sinks equipped with garbage disposals in office buildings? 11B-306.3.4 allows a clearance reduction in knee clearance except built in dining and work surfaces.
Ted – Do you agree with the following interpretation when the additional 6” is required?
Karl -Hello, I am in the process of obtaining my CASP license and have some questions about field inspections since I am new to all of this. My question is: what is a typical CASP inspection and what does it consist of? What are some of the areas you look at when performing a CASP inspection? I know those questions might seem generalized but without any firsthand experience with a CASP field inspection, I want to know I will be starting off with my best foot forward. I am currently studying the CBC 11A and 11B and plan on taking your class as well as some of the classes offered by the ICC to ensure that I am adequately prepared to venture in this field. Any advice you could give me would be appreciated. Thank you.
